Overprotectiveness occurs quite often and "is a great disadvantage for the child because it keeps the child from learning to maximize his or her abilities. A new study from the University of Mary Washington found that women who believe in intense mothering are more likely to have negative mental health. The study shows that women who believe that parenting should be extremely challenging and that parenting should be child-centered were also less satisfied with their lives. (Kthryn, Holly & Miriam, 2012, P614-620). To review overprotective parenting, those parents spend considerable more time in considering how to protect their children from harm, how to over-scheduling their children’s routine, they lost an opportunity of being accompanied with families, they would not enjoy their home life,
