It helps inform the reader about the impact of cultural diversity on work team performance by focusing on the different diversities and teams, reflecting the results as captured in a study on operational work teams in the industry. In order to obtain the results of the study, a structured questionnaire, aimed at capturing the responses of team members regarding their team leaders, was circulated (Kokt p. 80). The purpose of the study conducted was to find the potential problems that might exist when individuals from different diversities got together. After results and figures were gathered, it was determined that there were no major issues that existed but did highlight the importance of the role the leader actually plays.
