Cell Phones Affecting Face-To-Face Communication

Cellphones are staple in our modern society. A cellphone can make people 's lives easier but it also makes them abandon other customs. People now days are choosing to communicate with each other more often though cellphones rather than meeting and having a conversation. This affects face to face interaction.
There is a big difference in how communications was in our society years ago and how it 's today. First, when it came to a reunion or a casual get together between friends, they just needed to choose a place or an activity and gladly be an enthusiastic to be part of it. People aren 't capable of separating work from their personal life these days. Interaction between coworkers happen less often, using a phones takes priority. When everyone at work has free time, instead of doing something related to work, they don’t waste any time to use their phone to text with their friends or family members and go on social media. Moreover, years ago cellphone use wasn 't a priority being more involved in working and having a productive environment was essential. A cellphone was allowed to be carried and used when it was needed or a way to communicate to the outside work in case of an emergency. My personal recommendation for avoiding using cellphones when we should be communicating with everyone around is to: Avoid having the phone at plain sight, keep it away to restrain ourselves from using our cellphone all the time. Don’t give in to the temptation to use the cellphone for everything. Do not take for granted the time with family member, they should always be first then anything . Take as a priority our friends and family at all time and train our main to use our phone at work when is just
