Buying American can help save and create many jobs. Buying American is also a lot safer. In the United States, there are labor laws and also regulations about what the workplace has to be like. Buying American keeps money in the United States. Buying American will increase growth in our economy and keep our economy moving in a positive direction.

Not only will the individuals working be safer, but also the products themselves will be safer and higher quality. “Many importing countries have little or no regulations for labor regulations, resulting in unsafe and inhumane working conditions (long hours, child labor, no or very low minimum wage, etc.) (Loll Designs 2015). If Americans purchase from other countries, then they are essentially supporting these bad working environments. It is important that Americans are protecting themselves in the United States. Americans protect themselves by having labor laws and fair minimum wages. Not only do Americans protect themselves in the work place, but also they protect themselves by producing safe and quality products. “The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission ensures manufacturers produce quality products that are safe for consumers” (Loll Designs 2015). If safety is something that a person is worried about, then they should buy American, and they are “guaranteed a safe product and can be confident in having the best” (American Lanyard 2010). I think when it comes to buying a safe product it really depends on what the product is. There are some products that are for our bodies that we need to make sure they are safe for us. From the business point of view it is important to understand that outsourcing is part of globalization, and it benefits the company’s efficiency and it saves money in labor. Many Americans believe that outsourcings hurt Americans economy and are against the idea of taking Americans jobs to other countries. Bryson, a global economist for Wells Fargo said: “When jobs move from a factory in the South to one in Guatemala or China, it certainly has a negative impact on that community in the short run…But in the long run it makes things more efficient." (Hargreaves, 2012) And in fact it might make things more efficient for the company because it is relatively easier to establish a business in China than in the United States, however it is inedible to ignore the impact in American workers. “Over the past decade data from the United States Department of Commerce show that U.S biggest companies that employ a fifth of American workers reduced their work forces by approximately 3 million jobs while increasing employment overseas.…

It is not that immigrants steal jobs, it is that Americans often think that immigrants should get jobs that match their human capital. In Wheelan’s book it says “individuals do things that make themselves better off”(Wheelan, 285). This applies to immigrants because they are willing to take on any occupation, even manual labor-intensive occupations. This is because they lack the human capital necessary for better jobs. Most Americans don't want or consider these intensive occupations because they believe they can do better.…

An argument for these workers is that businesses have an ethical duty to impose certain safety procedures. While any moral person can agree, the variation lies in how far do these safety procedures need to go.…

I don’t believe that people making more money should pay more tax than others. I think that the tax rate should be equal for everyone. People who are making more money is because either they are working very hard, or they are smart and have more knowledge than others. If rich people want to donate money for a good cause, then it’s their choice. I know that there are some people who will say that these rich people get their money because we buy what they are selling, so they should pay more taxes since they are making more money so the government can use it to support people who are making less money, for military, etc.…
