With the invention of blogs, there has seen an increase of not just specific topics but an abundance of ideas to help or show people how to live better. Blogs are online databases that someone creates not just of their life but could be helpful tips or ideas. They have started in the early 2000’s and has grown to have multiple websites on specific topics. One of the topics that has grown so much from its original idea is the idea of travel. Throughout history travel has not always been fun or as something to do unless you needed to. It was not until recently that there has been a growth in the want to see the world and all its wonders. This created the idea of travel blogs; and how people talk about their own travels to show the best locations or ideas to go to. Once countries and locations saw people were interested in the idea of travel blogs, they started paying for these bloggers to come to their locations and blog about how they had a good time and what they saw. This has grown over time and this is how so many travel bloggers make a living; traveling around the world on a paid vacation. It is not always easy or relaxed; however, the fact of what that location is and that someone been there is worth everything. “The travel blog contributors are ready and willing to share their unique experience for a quick weekend getaway or overseas adventure.” (“What Are Travel Blogs?”) Travel bloggers must spend a great deal of time and effort to get their blog up to standards and to be seen by the max audience that they can reach. The more people they reach through their articles and blogs, the more possibilities of growth within the industry. I talked about how relaxing it produces. Also, how it helps strengthen you and others around you. Visiting another country gives the traveler insight to other type of people which helps you grow from them. There might be negatives within traveling; however, these negatives turn into positives once you realize what they are and overcome them. Some negatives will always be there but the aspect of how the traveler handles it will set if it ends up good or bad. The relationships you gain from traveling is priceless and some will stay in contact for the rest of their lives. It shows that friends can by-pass culture shock and any other situation that may arise. They always say to have an outside look upon the world and traveling broaden the mind and increases awareness of how others might feel. This shows that even through trials they can overcome them by looking at it in a different aspect. Some of these skills or ideas can be gained by doing other things; however, this is one of the few activities that you can have fun and see the world too. Traveling allows the person to grow in ways more towards wisdom and general traits like kindness. That broad spectrum of people and cultures teaches you to be careful how you act and with what you say. The United States has a way different concept then the rest of the world does.
