They were said by a man who was not afraid of getting himself killed by the white people after saying these last words of a whole speech he inspired the world by. It is a man who claimed his own freedom without asking anybody for it, but not only that, he also claimed the rights for every Negro on earth. Starting from America all the way to Africa, passing Europe and Asia to Australia. It is Martin Luther King Jr.
Martin Luther King Jr. was born on the 15th January 1929 in Atlanta, Georgia. King became in his young life a civil-rights activist and a baptist minister. He made a huge impact on the race relations in the United States. He fought for ending the legal segregation of African-American citizens and many people stood beside him, both white and coloured people, and had the same idea of making equal rights for black and white people in America. King achieved what he dreamed about, he might not see that today everyone is able to live together without treating someone as a slave or disrespect someone’s race. He affected his own country and he also affected the world. Many people around the world were inspired by what he did and he helped them to change their minds and to be more compassion. King is still very much important to the coloured people, especially in the United States where they honor him and love him with a beating
