William Shakespeare’s, The Tragedy Of Macbeth was written roughly around 1606. Macbeth is considered to be a tragedy for the recognizable disturbance created by the tragic hero, followed by bad choices, eventually concluding in this minimal disturbance affecting the entire universe. William Shakespeare’s interpretation of an envious man, Macbeth, paints a horrifying picture: destruction of friendships, betrayal among loved ones, and deceiving the trusted. The Tragedy of Macbeth begins with order, quickly chased by chaos and ending in a catastrophe. He informs Macbeth of this as they both are wandering the halls of the castle, Macbeth insists that he hasn’t given the slightest thought to the witches prophecies.When Banquo and his son Fleance leave the scene, Macbeth’s imagination begins to taunt him. He believes that he sees a blood covered dagger, pointed towards King Duncan’s sleeping chamber. A bell signaled by Lady Macbeth, warns her envious husband that the time has come to kill King Duncan. Lady Macbeth has seduced and intoxicated the guards. As Macbeth enters Duncan’s room and the murder has been committed, he believes that guards started to state the Father’s Prayer. It was all a hallucination, but Macbeth is completely distraught by his own actions. Act 2 continues with the murder of the King being discovered by Macduff, his right hand man. Macbeth had killed the guards to make it seem as if the two of them had killed the King. He began to inform Macduff that he was so disturbed with the loss of Duncan, which caused him to kill the guards out of honor. By the end of Act 2, Macbeth has murdered three: King Duncan and his two guards. He then begins to plot out the murders of several other trusted acquaintances.
