In the years before he fell sick, he married. One year later his wife became pregnant; their marriage began to shift from the unideal image of marriage, so he ran towards his work. In doing this he further distanced himself from his family. At work, he moved up the ranks, but he did not receive the highest promotion, so he moved his family to a different city so that he could work on obtaining a high position in that place. Shortly after his promotion, he fell ill. In his time of illness, his wife did not understand what he was going through, so he further pushed her away. He then began to get angry at his family for not confronting the fact that he was dying, not just sick but actively dying.
