There was a total of twenty-six people that were going to get baptize including myself. I was number twenty, so I knew I would be in line a while before it was my turn. As we were in the back room the pastor grabbed one of the people that were going to get baptized and demonstrated and talked through how the baptism was going to go. After that, the youth pastor made sure we all had ours towels, extra set of clothes, and brush if we needed one, then they prayed for all of us before they started baptizing everyone. All of a sudden you could hear the first person get baptized then the second and so on. The line was staring to move quickly I was getting nervous and scared by the second because it is an emotional experience. Then, I was next to get baptize. As the youth pastor helped me step down into the water, I made my way towards the microphone to say a few words all at once the emotion hit me, because I saw my dad. My dad isn 't Pentecostal he is Catholic. Catholics believe that you should get baptized in front of the church when you are a baby; however Pentecostal faith disagrees with that because when you’re a baby you do not know what is going on, we believe that the person should understand the purposes of getting baptized, because it is important.
