The problem with gasoline powered vehicles is that high amounts of CO2 are released into the atmosphere, causing “Desertification, Increased melting of snow and ice, Sea level rise, Stronger storms and extreme events”(whatsyourimpact.org) But with electric powered vehicles we can reduce the levels of CO2 in the air if we look at “The report, “Driving Cleaner: More Electric Vehicles Mean Less Pollution,” shows that electric vehicles could prevent more than 18 million metric tons of climate-changing carbon pollution annually in the U.S. by 2025.” (Madsen). public transportation is a big problem when it comes to the environment, Bert says, “many firms interested in reducing their carbon footprint might consider switching to buying and hiring more electrical vehicles (EVs) rather than using traditional modes to move people and goods” (Wee). Buses are non-stop traveling around the city to city and the amount of CO2 those big vehicles are producing are probably crazy high! But, if more firms were to switch over to electric vehicles like school buses, public buses and etc... they would be saving more money in a long run and they would also be saving the environment by cutting down the amount of CO2 being released into the
