The Hunter And The Traveler
In two different stories of literature, Claudia from the book “The Mixed-up Files of Mrs. Basil E. Frankweiler” and Katniss Everdeens, the main character of “The Hunger Games Trilogy” are very when it comes to several things. While “The Mixed-Up Files of Mrs. Basil E. Frankweiler” debuted in 1960 and the book-turned to-hit movie franchise “The Hunger Games” made its debut in 2012, a few decades apart. Also, the characters in both stories faced very difficult challenges on the way. The youth in these stories have gone through a large amount of abuse through parenting and society. So with that being said, both Katniss and Claudia are very unique because of their characterization, conflict and theme.

For example, in a scene while Katniss and Primrose being transferred to the Arena, it cuts to a group called the Gamemakers, they’re the ones in charge of the competition and to be sure that the games give the audience what it need. But regardless, it also leads the story’s main anatognist and power-hungry president of Palen named Corionalous Snow. President Snow was first seen as he introduced Katniss, Peeta, and the rest of the tributes with a speech. But later, he was well known for his grudge against Katniss after the head gamemaker, President Seneca Crane was forced to let her and Peeta live at the finale of the games. Ever since, President Snow tries to kill the people she love and trust as well as sabotage the games until she admits driven by love for Pet throughout the trilogy. But in the story “The Mixed-up Files of Mrs. Basil E. Frankweiler”, it was different comparing to scenario with Katniss and President Snow. According to the story, the conflict begins after Claudia and Jamie made it to the owner of the statue, which it turns to be the narrator as well, Mrs. Basil E. Frankweiler. They want to know more about the statue, but saddenly, it seems like they actually caught themseleves in the middle of disappointment since Mrs. Basil decides not to share where the information was hiding, but makes a deal with them.
