Later on during the reaping, two people , a boy and a girl,are chosen to participate in the hunger games. Katniss’s sister Prim is chosen but Katniss volunteer to go in her place instead. Meeting the mentor -Katniss meets her mentor Haymitch, who was the winner of the previous hunger games, He helps katniss during the games and gives her advice on what to do. Crossing the threshold - Katniss abords a train that will take her to the capitol where she will train for the hunger games.
