The Hunger Games: Catching Fire follows Katniss Everdeen and Peeta Mallark succeeding their victory in the 74th annual Hunger Games. The two must now begin a Victor’s tour, travelling to each district expressing their gratitude and apology for those lost in the games. Although Katniss secretly hopes to spike a rebellion against the Capitol, President Snow initiates a 75th Hunger Games in which Katniss and Peeta are involuntarily entered. This film in particular showcases a variety of developmental themes of behaviour, being one of the many reasons I chose it for this analysis. The film depicts many theories of development that, from a young age, can entirely alter a person’s well being, whether it be positive or negative. I believe this film
