The skeletal system is the body’s framework. It is what gives each individual the basic shape, structure and support. Without the skeletal system the body would just be a blob. It is the foundation for movement because the muscles lie within the surface of the bones. The human skeletal system is a major factor of the body’s mechanism. It’s much more than just the bones and structure, it entails the formation of blood and protection of organs. For example the ribs protect all the vital organs located on the axial region of the body. Overall, the major functions of the human skeletal system provide the body with a fraction part of stability and security (Marieb 2002).

The time spent on cellphones is time lost, when it could easily be spent on something more productive. Limiting the amount of time spent using technology can bring assess a healthier life. There would be more time to go to the gym and be active and more time to cook healthier meals. Vitamin D for example is a major contributor to bone maintaining healthy bones, which is only acquired by being outside or eating healthy, two things that are limited by technology.
