The U.S house of representatives is one of the two houses of the United States. The lower house of United States Congress with 435 popular elected officials which is often called representative body of federal government. The United States congress is made together with the House of Representatives and Senate, which identify their individual districts in their own state. The main role of this house is basically to vote and pass the laws. The arrangement and powers of the house are established in the United States constitution. The senate has several advice and consent powers not granted to the House, including electing the U.S. Vice President if there is no case majority in the Electoral College. In the U.S., the Senate is sometimes referred as an “world’s greatest deliberative body”. Also, U.S senate is made up of 100 members where each state consists of two senators. When the senator is selected than these senators serve in the House of legislation for six years. Looking at the state area and population, two senators are elected in the United States. These senates play most important role and respond more fast in the problem of nation rather than House of the Representatives. He is the one that’s represent on my address. He is a Congressman and member of the Republican party. He was born on February 23, 1951 in Bonham. He is an educated person, as he graduated from R.L Turner High School in Carrolton and attended a college at Sothern Nazarene University in Bethany, Oklahoma. From this University, he completed his bachelor degree in Business. After completing his bachelor degree in the field of Business, he started his own construction and home building business. This is the point where he starts to make his carrier. The small business leads him in the path of success. Before being the mayor of Carrolton city, he starts to provide public service near the Carrolton city Council. He serves people for 4 years. Also, being a mayor, he serves 2 years as a mayor of Carrolton. Furthermore, he was elected as a Texas House of Representatives in 1985. Merchant served in congress from 1984 to 2004. During that time, he helps the chairman of the House committee on Banking and Investment. Whenever he become old day by day the position of him was increasing.
