Sometimes people tend to not get along very well. Sometimes people throw punches or push each other to the ground. But sometimes it gets a lot worse than that. Sometimes people kill other people. People have always committed crimes, and hurt one another and/ or kill one another. When people would commit these crimes they would be thrown in what we call today a prison. Prisons have been around for hundreds of years. Prisons are all around the world and can hold all different types of people. Prisons hold people that have committed crimes like theft or murder. One of the most famous prisons ever to exist is named Alcatraz. Alcatraz is a maximum security prison that holds hundreds of dangerous prisoners that have committed horrible crimes. Alcatraz
