THE MYSTERY OF SEVEN STARS
The seven stars are the seven spirits of God sent out to accomplish God’s commands in the world. The Holy Spirit uses His angels to get His work done on earth. The seven angels serve as representative agents of God; they display in multiple manners the power of God in the world. They stand constantly before God’s presence; they absorb and draw from God all the treasures of wisdom and powers and they duplicate and reflect the same lights and wisdom to those below them. The Holy Spirit manifests His power through the seven angels. The seven angels reveal in various and restricted ways the diversities of the infinite power of God. He gives life to all and maintains it though His mighty power. He is the Spirit of power; He is the almighty God and He empowers everyone according to His perfect will. The Holy Spirit empowers His angels; now the angels exhibit on earth the power of the Holy Spirit. The seven angels are the seven princes of heaven; they display in different manners the power of the Holy Spirit in the world. The seven angels are called “the seven spirits of God” or “the holy spirits” because they are in charge of carrying out all the commands of the Holy Spirit on earth. The Holy Spirit never tells us about Himself; He comes to glorify the Lord Jesus. Many people don’t understand the mystery of the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit works with His angels, therefore, the angels don’t speak of themselves, they speak what they hear from the Lord. Jesus said once again, “the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you all things.” (John 14:26). The Holy Spirit has empowered and has sent His angels. They come in the Name of Jesus; they don’t speak of themselves but they witness about the Lord Jesus. The angels are ministering spirits sent by God to teach the children of God. Jesus sent an angel to teach the apostle John on the island of Patmos. John was overwhelmed by the glory of the angel of the Lord and he fell at his feet to worship him. However, the angel said, “Don’t do that! I am a fellow servant…worship God: For the testimony of Jesus is the Spirit of prophecy” (Revelation 19:10). The Holy Spirit operates through His angels to teach the believers. The ministering angels constitute “the spirit of prophecy” which has the charge to witness about Jesus in the world.
