Over 60 million people were killed in World War II, but it is estimated that Adolf Hitler cause about 16 million of those deaths. What if Adolf Hitler realized that his action are cruel and that he would've ended the war by pulling his troop back and surrendering? He could've saved many lives and forgive the Jews and not hate them. In the book, "Number the Stars", Things would've been different for Annemarie, Ellen, and their families.Things could've gone another way if Hitler knew that his actions are cruel and unjust.
