The Holocaust The holocaust also known as the Shoah, was a genocide in which Adolf Hitler's Nazi Germany and its collaborators killed about six million Jews. The holocaust affected most of the world and the people of the Jewish race and religion. Adolf Hitler wanted to get all impurities out of his country so he started killing and sending Jews to concentration camps. After Hitler became the most powerful person in Germany he started being biased towards Jews. He also killed people who didn't agree with him.
