The Holocaust is an awful genocide because of Adolf Hitler’s decisions, the concentration camps, all of the deaths that occurred, and the massive decrease of the Jewish population.
Adolf Hitler’s Childhood
Almost any tragedy that occurs today is compared to the Holocaust and what happened to the Jews. Adolf Hitler was baptized a Catholic. He was born on April 20, 1889 near the upper Austrian border town, Braunau am Inn. In 1898, the Hitler family moved to Linz, the capital of Upper Austria. He grew up as a dog owner. Hitler’s father was Alois Hitler and his mother was Klara Hitler. His mother had breast cancer in the spring of 1907 but lost her fight in the winter of the same year (“Adolf Hitler: Early Years, 1889-1913.”). Hitler was an ordinary and exclusive young boy but when he aged, so did his actions. His actions went from calm to chaotic very quickly.
