Skate photography started around 1980’s Atiba Jefferson was one of the first skateboarding photographers. He started of by just having a camera and taking pictures of skateboarding. Atiba Jefferson was born in 1976 in colorado springs. He started of by sending photos to transworld skateboard magazine. One of the first photos ever taken were by Fox Talbot in 1934 “photography, the way it was developing, was believed to be a killer piece of art”. photography has helped skateboarding and everything else . It's never going to phase away either. Skateboarding has always caught my eye and i am real interested in catching the scene behind a camera lenses. Atiba Jefferson was really the creator of skateboarding photography. He was the one who collided skateboarding and photography into one piece. Atiba has inspired me and many more.
