Throughout history there have been many major discoveries and breakthroughs in the medical field. Many life changing discoveries such as birth control and planned parenthood in the 1940s led by Emma Goodman, the X-Ray in 1901 by Wilhelm Conrad Rontgen, Insulin for diabetics, and penicillin which was discovered by Alexander Fleming in 1928. For Autism there have been many advances towards trying to find a treatment to cure or manage the symptoms of Autism.
