The Histology Program Analysis

The Histology program we still use the Freida L Carson book and still hands on training. Being able to use the same equipment as the hospital I think is the most important part because we are practicing on something we are going to use for the rest of our career. It's not just one type of microtome our Program Director has went above to get us different types of microtomes we get to try them out and feel the difference. Everything we need is at school to practice from embedding, processing, cutting , staining and to cover slipping. This is a very good experience to get you ready for the position. The technology now is so incredible now we are able to view our slides that we stained on a tv screen. In this program I got the knowledge and experience
