As a result, those workers`s real income would decrease, and they would make less consumption than before, even they might have to bear heavier financial burden. In other words, their living standard will decrease(Chen.F,2015). Additionally, the sky-high cost of living can lead more disputes in different relationships, such as some families may have more argument on how their money should be spent, so tension or stress may exist, and they might have less happiness than before(Survey R,2016). If the government implement rent control on entrepreneurs, the rental cost would be much lower than before, which can eliminate the burden of high rent(Numbeo,2017). Consequently, the businesses could have lower operation costs, and the general price level of products will tend to decrease due to lower operation costs, which means the cost of living will also decrease. The system of a market, formed through the supply and demand of goods, can be divided amongst different types (types of what?), that can be classified based on the competition the supplier has for allocating his/her goods. Two commonly known divisions are the free market and the competitive market, as discussed in Cocktail Party Economics, written by Evelin Adomait and Richard Maranta. The writers argue that, no matter how efficiently a perfectly functioning competitive market is working, it is unlikely that market’s outcomes will be equitable. In order to prove this, I this paper will be looking at the efficiency, equity and market failure/success in both the cases of the provision of public education and the financial markets such as housing.…

The poor people are having a hard time keeping up because of the amount of money being brought home by way of the low wages of the have nots. As West and Smiley (2012) stated, “There is this gap between the have and the have-not, a growing gap, in fact. Income inequality is also heavily correlated to poverty, which leads to a deteriorating average quality of health in a society. Although most prosperous nations have universal health care systems, access to exercise, healthy food and quality health care are often limited for individuals of lower socio-economic statuses. A personal life length tends to vary depending on their income. Higher incomes contributes to a better diet, more exercise and less stress, which implies that income inequality, is indeed negatively correlated with the average life expectancy. As the gap between the wealthy and middle class increases, the life expectancy for the less fortunate will decline more than the growing life expectancy of the wealthy (OO7).…
