As the oar hit the water they began to hear something. It sounded like thumping or like the earth was shaking, suddenly hundreds of people which seemed like and army came out of nowhere. Half of the people went to one side and and the other half to the other side, when only one was left in the middle to speak. She demanded to know where they came from, who they were, and what they wanted from them. They replied that they came from England, and that they were travelers seeking new land. They strange young women that spoke told them there was no new land here. The two men simply asked to be friends not foes and that they just needed a home for their wife and kids to rest. The young women gave in and so suddenly her expression changed to a welcoming soft voice when she heard they had children.
