Back when the world was new, Cronus and his band of titans thrived in the chaos of the world. Faced with opposition, together the titans created six keys to the cells of Tartarus where they forced creatures to reside.
After the Olympians overthrow their predecessor in the personal hell they created, Zeus alongside his brothers scattered the keys throughout the new and brightening world including one in the design of Pandora’s box. As the years turned into eons, the memory of the location of these keys began to fade along with the strength of the Titans.
As time moved on, a group of offspring of the Olympians were chosen to test their skills in order to be honored with the task of guarding the hidden key: Pandora’s box. After countless bloody battles and impervious mind games Zeus was unable to claim on offspring worthy of the task. Quickly incapacitating the guards, the group split in two: half going to distract the mere mortal and the other sent to retrieve the box. Proving more tempting than perceived, the box was opened for a quick peaked— it couldn’t possibly be anything they couldn’t handle. How wrong they were.
