The story of Yona begins very tragic, like most heroes. So, before that let's talk a bit of her background. Her story begins in the Medieval times where Kings and Queens were major, and forced marriages were very common. Yona was “very fortune,” with her life as she was a Princess. She didn’t have to worry about much in life, like for food, shelter, or even water, compared to a lot of people in her kingdom. Another thing is, women, especially royal, weren’t very common for using weapons. Also, from the journey, Yona learned many new things like how to become brave, independent, a fighter for her beliefs, help others, and finally to comprehend the world because it’s not as perfect as it seems. If Yona had never taken this Journey and if the King never died, she would of missed many important life lessons of the world, and would be just like a spoiled puppy, only used to getting what she wants with a perfect easy life. A perfect easy life is not realistic at all, and it’s wonderful on how much she had learned. She even knows self protection and isn’t so dependent on her guard and other people, before she was a coward and would hold Hak back.
