Everyone wants to be uplifted and applauded by a crowd of people, just as the movie stars, are at some point in his or her lifetime. In order for a movie to capture an audience, there must be villain and a hero. To have to choose which character to be would make for a difficult decision. Most people would choose the hero because they are the one who is looked up to by many people. The hero is the one that typically steals the heart of the young girl or young man and saves the world. According to Goggle definitions, to be a hero means, “you are a person, typically a man, who is admired or idealized for courage, outstanding achievements, or noble qualities.” So, who wouldn’t want to be looked up to for being a great person? According to Goggle definitions, to be a villain means, “a character whose evil actions or motives are important to the plot”. This is the “bad” person in the movie whom everyone wants to avoid and destroy. Without a doubt, I would proudly choose the villain role in a movie. …show more content…
The hero may be the main character in the movie, but without the villain, there is no movie at all. The villain is all around stronger and more determined to get what she wants—the villain has a clear purpose and cause. The hero is simply determined to stop the villain in every movie, not making him unique or extraordinary at all. The villain provides the movie with the action and the intensity the audience seeks. The audience may walk away from the movie despising the villain, but deep down they wish they had the grit and willpower to go after exactly what they want in life.
