There is a quote that has such powerful meaning, it goes like this; “Success in any line demands a definite aim. He who would achieve true success in life must keep steadily in view the aim worthy of his endeavor” (Ed. 262.1). What is my aim? This has been a question on my mind for sometime. I have been battling back and forth, struggling to know what God would have me do with my life. I have made lists, talked to my parents and others who’s opinions I respect, I have prayed, and I yet still I have no clear direct purpose or aim so it seems. Until this morning when I was reading in the book Education, chapter “The Lifework” and, right after the quote that I have written above, it said, “ The heaven-appointed purpose of giving the gospel to the world in this generation is the noblest that can appeal to any human being.”

My purpose and my aim is set right there before me. I don’t need to know what I am going to be doing a year from now or ten years from now, all I need to know is what my aim and purpose is now and that is to take Jesus Christ to those who are right here in the place where I live. In the bible, in the book of Esther it talks about how she was brought to be the queen of Persia for just that time and how God used her to save her people.
