Experience: Words are powerful. Words are meaningful. Words can build cites and destroy empires. Words give life and can take life away. Words together can define and create the invisible visible. Through our imagination, a summary of words can transport us to distant galaxies far beyond our most advance telescopes or do the impossible of teleporting us through the past, and or future. Such a poetic designed, words are invaluable. Maybe this is why God, the creator of the heaven and the earth, the architect of humanity, the author of our salvation, choose to use words has his main vessel to pass down to generation to generation as His primary sources of instruction for of our lives. The bible is comprised of 66 books, 1,189 chapters, over 31,000 verses written by 40 different authors in span of roughly 2000 years. The greasiest love story ever written, a gift from the Father, left to his children. With roughly over five billion copies in print, the bible also called scripture, is the greatest collections of words every to be written down on paper. But are they merely words written on paper, or are they something ‘more’? Through the analysis of scripture, reason, tradition and my own experiences I will reflect on the the ‘more’ regarding the unique authoritative designed behind what scriptures is and represents towards Gods people.
