On April 9th, 2085 at the age of 90 years old, we say goodbye to Eli Zakhour, beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend. At 5:45pm Mr. Zakhour had succumb with his battle to colon cancer, which he had suffered for two years. His beloved family, said this man was full of happiness and joy, giving to those who needed it and can always lend a helping hand when needed. He will truly be missed. Mr. Zakhour would have wanted those who loved him not to be saddened by his death but rather have a celebration of his life. Just like in the novel, Tuesday 's with Morrie, Mr. Zakhour had his funeral when he was alive, in order to listen to those he loved expressed how they feel about his terminal illness and his unfortunate terminal status. Mr. Zakhour was rejoiced at the comments and emotional sentiment that people expressed as his life has touched many people. Some might perceive terminal colon cancer as a bad way to die, however Mr. Zakhour found it to be a good death as it gave him precious time to sit back and reflect on his life. Now we have referenced the book Tuesday 's with Morrie quite a few times in this obituary, as that was Mr. Zakhour 's favourite book to read when he got diagnosed as he thought it could give him insight on how to positively deal with his condition.
