The Healthier Cure to Human Trafficking Human trafficking is a very secretive business and it often goes unnoticed. Human trafficking is the buying and reselling of people for a multitude of reasons, the largest of which is sex slavery. In many third world countries prostitution is legal, and although human trafficking is not, many countries have low regulation rates and laws. In third world countries such as Bangladesh the number of men, women, and children involved in human trafficking is very high. The country is home to one of the largest brothels on the continent of Asia. Brothels are the homes to sex workers, sex traffickers, and many children. This isn’t very shocking. As said before, both males and females fall for the promise of money and a luxurious lifestyle. If more of these shelters were put into place and were in a reasonable travel distance it would decrease the people living in poverty, and turning to sex work. The increase of awareness throughout the world has already proved how this tragedy is such a huge covered up business. By offering and setting up shelters and health clinics to all the victims affected by human trafficking, it not only provides them with a second chance but can help this business from continuing to grow. Both of these solutions could not only help spread awareness but help decrease the amount of men,women, and children that become part of the trafficked cycle.
