If more of these shelters were put into place and were in a reasonable travel distance it would decrease the people living in poverty, and turning to sex work. According to Points of View article “Human Trafficking: Overview” it says “It is difficult to have a good understanding of the nature and extent of the problem globally, since human trafficking is by nature hidden, its boundaries not always clear, and its victims not always easily identified” (Koh, 2016, para.13) telling us that, victims will not always be noticed. The increase of awareness throughout the world has already proved how this tragedy is such a huge covered up business. By offering and setting up shelters and health clinics to all the victims affected by human trafficking, it not only provides them with a second chance but can help this business from continuing to grow. Both of these solutions could not only help spread awareness but help decrease the amount of men,women, and children that become part of the trafficked cycle.
