Our story follows the path of a typical village boy named Cole. Tall and lean but not weak, he is used to long, grueling days of work. I'd be glad to help you out." Cole says cheerfully as he's packing the rock into his saddlebags. The next morning, Cole leaves early, hoping to avoid causing a scene, but the entire village is gathered at the path, waiting to give him a big sendoff. Cole thanks everyone as he walks through, and once past everyone, he mounts his horse and rides off. After a long day of traveling, Cole set up camp inside an old cave to escape the torrential downpour outside. He finds a pile of dusty old bones in a corner, but other than that the cave is completely ordinary. Cole takes all of his belongings out of his saddlebags to dry, then sets the bags near the fire he built, then he lays down to sleep. He is awoken by a sound outside the cave. Cole got up, looked outside, and saw a huge black beast with a strange, mask-like face. Scared for his life, Cole runs deeper into the cave and encounters a dwarf.

“I am Silvia, protector of the forests.” She replies.
“The legendary Silvia? Can you help me recover my father? He’s been,” Cole asks enthusiastically, but is interrupted by Silvia,
“As much as I would like to, I cannot. Cole, that beast you defeated took my soul. I can no longer walk on your world, but I can help you from here, and I will do so my best ability. Whenever you need help, call upon the forest, and help will come. Now go rescue the others. We all need your help, Cole.” She tells Cole, and then he is teleported to the barren lands of a volcano. Cole explores the volcano and finds a race of creatures who can survive in the burning, barren landscape. They call themselves the Geocaus, and they survive by eating the igneous rock created by the lava, but the grounds where they get most of their rocks has been claimed by a huge dinosaur. Cole uses the help of the Geocaus leader, Ingno, to defeat the dinosaur, and after another quick fight, the dinosaur falls to Cole’s light. Once again, Cole is teleported to the platform in the sky, but Ingno is as well.
“Greetings friend. I had a suspicion of being a protector, I guess I know now.” Ingno says to Cole.
