Hagen Oil Company Research Paper

The Hagen Oil Company has been in William Hagen’s family for over 60 years. It is located in Oslo, Norway. This is where the majority of Norway’s oil is produced. The company has been passed down from generation to generation. William had recently gotten the company from his dad who had passed away earlier in the year. William would be passing it down to his son, Oskar, in the next couple of years. William was working in his office one day when a breaking news report came on the television. The reporter started saying there was an oil spill in the North Sea. William was shocked when they said that one of the Hagen Oil Company’s rigs had exploded. He didn’t know what to do. The Oil Company had been in his family for over 60 years and it was up to him to save it. Anna came down the stairs and into the kitchen. He handed the letter to her and she read it. When she finished the last sentence, her eyes began to fill with tears. William wrapped her up in his arms and comforted her. Oskar came down the stairs into the kitchen. He wondered what was wrong. Anna handed him the letter and he read it. Oskar became very angry and threw the letter on the ground and marched out of the kitchen. Anna followed Oskar into the living room. The door bell rang just as Anna was about to talk to Oskar. Anna got up and answered the door. There stood two business men. They were dressed in suit and tie and one of them had square black-rimmed glasses. She welcomed them in and she led them to William’s office.
