The most important thing about a college is that the curriculum, in a sense, is standardized, meaning that there is a standard facet of learning for every college. It is no secret that the majority of graduating college students have quite a bit of student debt. However, students are willing to take out student loans and put themselves into student debt because they understand that a college degree is become increasingly essential to getting a job post college. If students continue cheating without punishment, there will be no reason to get into student debt because the degrees that the student are paying for will become useless and, therefore, not worth the student debt.
Cheating has potential to completely revolutionize the educational system that we are accustomed to, today. Academic honesty is a relatively easy thing to enforce with new technologies, so there is no reason to continue to allow it. Therefore, Universities should implement and enforce zero-tolerance cheating policies in an attempt to save the degrees for which students work and pay so
