Ares is the Greek god of war. Son of Zeus and Hera. Ares is hated by his parents. Some symbols that represent him would be a Spear, flaming torch, a chariot or even a Vulture. His lover is Aphrodite the Greek goddess of love, beauty & eternal youth. But at the time she was married to Hephaestus the Greek god of fire and metalworking. The Roman counterpart to Ares was Mars.
