In literature there are many different types of heroes that come to play throughout stories but the greatest type is the classic hero. Harry Potter shows that he is the model image of a classic her because he is “the cream of the crop”, meaning he is the best of the best when it comes to all people (Bunting). This shows how many people have also found that Harry Potter was the best of the best when it comes down to literary heros. Although Beowulf was though as one of the best heroes of his time things have changed in terms of what greatness is shown. Often times classic hero's contain the same qualities but as for Beowulf he only contains three out of the four that are needed to be a true classics hero, “courage, intelligence, athleticism, and loyalty.”(Bunting). Those are allow of the traits that are needed to make a true hero and Harry Potter contains them all.
