The Greatest Accomplishment Analysis

Decent Essays
The greatest accomplishment I have in life was going to college so that I can have a better career. Getting the degrees I’m getting will provide me with the information I’ll need to know when it comes with working with children and teenagers. It was in 2014 when I decided to go to college to become a youth counselor. In the first time in my life, I felt happy because I was doing something for me and what I care about I was able to follow my dreams.

Children never outgrow the need for a family. Whether they are seven or seventeen or older, all children need a family to love them, support them, and most of all, not give up on them. Many older children and teenagers in foster care need foster parents, adoptive parents, mentors, etc. Me wanting to become a youth counselor for troubled teens is critical to me because many of these children have been traumatized, abandoned, and hurt. They are going to push your buttons just like any other teenager, and they are going to force you to deal with your own issues, It requires a lot of patience to give them the time, support, and to process their life. God has given me this opportunity to help the children who are lost and may think they are alone.

God works all the time and we seldom even recognize

One accomplishment I am most proud of is teaching myself to play the piano. Music has always been one of my favorite things in life. When I was younger, I would try to come up with song lyrics and was also interested in learning guitar. My dad played when he was younger but never played much after he had kids. I was fortunate enough one day to get a piano from a close family friend.…
