The Great Tribulation In John 16: 33

There are many questions about the end times or the tribulation that people struggle to perceive and put to sense in their heads. There has been loads of information and studies that people have found and have written themselves that explains their beliefs. Everybody has a different belief, but one of the hard questions about the end times; that no one knows, is whether or not Christians will go or endure through the Tribulation. The New Testament speaks of the tribulation and the debate hinges on whether the church or true believers will or will not go through it. There are many different viewpoints that many people have sought after and we have been debating over different perspectives for many years of which will be discussed later on in the paper. A very important verse regarding the Great Tribulation is found in John 16:33"In the world you have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world. Tribulation has been and will be the lot of all who truly follow Christ.” …show more content…
The Rapture refers to when Christ comes out of the clouds and calls His fellow believers up to heaven. The term Pre-Tribulation simple means that the Rapture happens before the Tribulation. Post-Tribulation refers to the concept that the Rapture would happen after the Tribulation. The Tribulation is the 7-year period of God's wrath on the world (Rev. 6:17). The Second Coming is when Jesus Christ returns to Earth as Ruler and King; it is not the Rapture.
