F. Scott Fitzgerald, American short story writer and novelist, is known for his stormy personal life and one of his famous novels The Great Gatsby. He is known as one of the famous twentieth century writers. He finished four novels and left the fifth one unfinished. He also wrote number of short stories. Some of his novels are 'Tender Is The NIght', 'This Side Of Paradise', 'The Beautiful And Damned'. His writing style was inspired by Joseph Conard. F. Scott Fitzgerald utilizes many writing techniques to create his own unique writing style and to draw the reader in. To convey his message, he used diction, syntax and smilies. Scott Fitzgerald which is American classic. The main character Jay Gatsby in the novel is nothing more than a man desperate for love. In this novel, F. Scott Fitzgerald paints a picture of lifestyle that is fascinating as well as horrific. It was written in 1952. The story concerns young millionare Jay Gtasby and his obsession for the beautifil Daisy Buchanan. This novel is about the wealth and habits of a group of New Yorkers of the Jazz Age. The writer paints the picture of shallow charatcers who drive themselves into complex situations.The language used in this novel is best appreciated by mature readers who are able to understand literature. On every level, The Great Gatsby is a magnificent novel in which characters are well-drawn and the plot is engaging and fast-paced. Nick seems to be his closest friend but one of the important points in the novel is that Gatsby did not have any real friends who knew the exact truth about him like what he actually wanted. This novel is more than a romantic story in which Gatsby is only known by Nick's point of views. It is a love story as well as a mystery at the same time. The character of Gatsby is the best example of how human nature does not change. This novel is partly based on real life story which is definitely better than any film and also a best exapmle of how failure can breed
