You are Huckleberry. You go to St. Paul's High school. This morning was the same as every other morning; you jumped out of bed... No, really you rolled out of bed like a soggy sausage and dragged your lifeless corpse to school. Big Johnny and his mate Kevin were waiting for you at the school gates like every other day, and you outsmarted them like every other day and found a way passed without them even knowing. Big Johnny hated being outsmarted by you, the 'little nerd', so he got angry. Like every other day. In class you sit quietly on the other side of the room from Johnny working away at your high level work trying not to think about lunch time, and the loneliness. But after what seems to be no time, the dreaded sound of the school bell …show more content…
The next morning there was a new kid at school, he seemed pretty cool, in fact he was cool enough for the cool kids to pull him into their group before anyone else could snatch him. Maths came around and you found he was seated next to you. The tension had already begun, you moved your chair as far away as possible, and you kept your head down, pen moving in your hand like an earthquake had you trapped. The popular kids were death staring you, you could feel it. But then something ground breaking happened.
"Hey, could you help me out with this?"
You kept scribbling down equations and solving problems wondering who he was talking to, but then he tapped you on the shoulder.
"Excuse me, sorry. My name is Jesse, what's yours?"
You lifted your head slowly and made eye contact for half a second. It was like looking into the eyes of a god, you wouldn't dare to do it for long at all, in fear of the other popular kids.
"Ah... I'm.. Huckleberry" You muttered so that only the ants could hear you.
"Sorry i didn't quite catch that."
"I, am Huckleberry." You said so that only he could hear. Giggles instantly rose around you from other kids, your stomach
