Comparing The Great Gatsby book to the film. The book gets the general point across of a good story. Meanwhile the film give a more sensational familiarized view across creating more of a setting and depth than the book provides. An Example of this would be Gatsby's first party where nick was the only one that received an invitation to. The setting that the book gives off is a tiny classical setting in his luxurious mansion , but nothing too extravagant.
