The Great Gatsby Chapter 9 Summary

The most crucial plot in chapter nine is Nick preparing for Gatsbys funeral. Nick is trying to find people to attend because he thinks Gatsby does not deserve to be alone. Nick calls a ton of people but everyone is shooting him down to attend the funeral.

Gatsbys dad sees that his son has been killed in a public newspaper. Wilson believes that Gatsby killed his wife even though he was not the one driving his car is was Diasy. Wilson will not give up on the thought of it being Gatsby though.

The telephone call from Chicago tell us that there was even more we didn't know about Gatsby. It was Gatsbys dad, he refused to take the body to where he lives because Gatsby always loved where he was better. His dad did not seem the least bit of
