A new era was brought upon many people around the world and soon became known as the Roaring 20s, which lasted for nine years between 1920 to 1929.The Roaring 20s was a time where many major cities all around the world sustained an economic prosperity. This created a distinct cultural edge in the metropolises where it soon became an age-changing decade. Roaring 20s is an indicator of political change, as well as dramatic social revolution. The United States of America’s total wealth increased more than double its amount between the 1920 and 1929. All of these accomplishments would have never been possible without the important people that took part of this era of the Roaring 20s. After deep and comprehensive thinking of deciding our topic between the years of 1900 and 1950, we have come to a incontrovertible consensus that we were adamant of picking the Roaring 20s. One of our following reasons is that the Great Gatsby, written by F. Scott Fitzgerald, had greatly taken part in our decision and convinced that we should research more about the time that this was taken place in. Our society had evolved dramatically in the social and cultural aspect and we would like to research upon this very reason. Second, we had encountered this type of subject in history class in middle school, but we would like to evaluate to a very comprehensive level and achieve a further understanding. With this kind of knowledge, we are determined to spread this among our peers in our very own United States history
