Personal Narrative: My Summer At The Great Farm

Once upon a time, I moved to a farm in the Midwest. I, Nick, lived with many animals on the west side of the pond, but many animals lived on the east side too. The two sides did not like each other very much, so it was not easy to fit in. I currently live in a different farm, but the story about my summer at the Great Farm is a story worth sharing.

I did not know many animals when I arrived at the farm. The only familiar voice I heard came from inside the barn. The voice belonged to Daisy. Daisy was a sheep, who followed her best friends. Jordan, a weasel, was very good at getting out of tricky situations without harming herself. Tom, a fox, was an intelligent trickster. He always looked out for himself. I only knew Gatsby as Jay Gatsby. I did not know an animal named Jimmy Gatz ever existed. After the fact, I am sharing with you all that Jimmy did exist. He was falcon who traveled far away from home, because his previous farm was unbearable. The farm was very tiny, not well kept, and not many animals lived there. Jimmy Gatz was an intelligent falcon of action, who had a sharp vision of his future. He knew that in order to catch his dream, he had to leave his old life behind. Jimmy Gatz wanted to live with Daisy on her farm, because they were old friends and he missed her very much. He received help from a wolf, who knew how to get Jimmy to Daisy. The wolf 's name was Wolfsheim. Wolfsheim only spent time with the elite animal leaders, and was himself the leader of a pack of wolves. The wolf was dangerous, but also …show more content…
The farmhand, who used to be full of despair and sadness, had a smile on his face. The reason for his happiness, was because he noticed a balance between the animals on the farm. The east and west sides of the farm were not separated anymore. He liked that all of the animals talked with each other after Gatsby. The farm only needed one animal to step over the dividing line and lead the other animals. The other animals followed Gatsby 's actions, and by the last day of summer the pond was only a pond.
