The Government shouldn’t allow children to drop out of school. Allowing them to drop out contributes to their failure in life. Everybody needs twelve (12) years of a High School Education to get a diploma and maybe go on to college. Children need to set goals for themselves and stick to them and it should always be important to them to reach their goals. Nothing or nobody should come between your goals. People tend to drop out of school when it becomes too hard, are overwhelmed with life choices, feel the need to give up or just run the streets. Girls stay in school longer than boys because they study harder, longer and frequently. Boys tend to lose focus quickly and they spend a lot of time with electronic gadgets or playing games outside or on their phones. Boys tend to have more distractions as girls do, and I will go into more detail in the body of this paper on the distractions. When you drop out of school you are more likely to get a less paying job and the earning potential will be very limited for someone without a diploma. People without diplomas are more likely to commit crimes in order to earn money; they will steal from people instead of trying to work for the money. Graduates go on to college to get degrees, which will put them in a better place than someone who decided not to graduate high school and go on to college. Having a degree puts you in a better position to earn a higher wage, you gain experience, can get a skill or a trade instead of someone who didn’t graduate who has to work at maybe McDonalds or Burger King making minimum wage until they maybe get their GED and then sometimes your wage isn’t much higher with a
