He proceeded to tell me what was troubling him and was looking for some comfort and guidance. I could feel god’s presence quite strongly and I started to cry I felt the love god had for him and how much god wanted him. My friend also started to break down and I handed him my women’s bible which was all I had at the time. I told him to go home and start reading Matthew and I asked if I could pray for him and he said yes to my surprise. I decided to stop going out and drinking and changed some of my ways therefore bought a lot of attention on me from people. I started getting questioned on why I wasn’t going out with them anymore and what had become more important than going out and having ©“fun” with my friends. This gave me an opportunity to talk about Jesus and my relationship with him even if half of them thought I was crazy.
Talking to people about Jesus at work can be quite tough but god gave me the opportunity. A colleague of mine started to ask me questions about church and why I went. He told me about an experience he had at a youth group years ago and that he didn’t like it. I started to tell him about my church and how much fun I had there which made him decide to go a little deeper in his questions. He asked me about who Jesus was and why my face lit up when I spoke about him. I felt as though god wanted me to invite him to church and so I did he still hasn’t come but all in gods timing things are lowly
