The book of John highlights many important aspects and traits and untraditional values that has yet to be seen in any prior gospel. On the other hand, the book contains a lot of dialogue that can be unnecessary and seems to lack depth. Nevertheless the text continues to be unique in every way. The Gospel of John begins with poetic hymns that tell the stories origin in objective of Christ. It begins with the author declaring he is the fulfillment of Isaiah's, and old testament prophecy the narrative continues with people beginning to follow Jesus’s and continues to follow him as he travels through Jerusalem where he performs many miracles, and baptizes individuals in Judea, along John the Baptist. When he reaches Samaria, Jesus begins speaking in more metaphors. He proceeds to travel returning to Galilee. Throughout his journey Jesus made a lot of individuals unhappy due to his figure of his speech and miracles performed. The text continues to reveal the life, location, and extraordinary events that Christ preforms, such as. Feeding of the 5,000, and the resurrection of Lazarus. The narrative quickly approaches a conclusion with Jesus pouring into his disciples. Stressing the idea of having a spirit to dwell with once he is gone, known as the Holy Spirt. Proceeding through the story Jesus is arrested and brought before the highest priest, then before Pontius Pilate. Although reluctant to do so Pilate does in end condemn Jesus.
