Before I watched the movie "The good, the bad and the ugly ", I had just thought it was a very long movie.Probably because the movie of that era had a very slow pace. However, after I watched it, I changed.
This movie is the last piece of the western movie “A Fistful Of Dollars Trilogy”, based on the background of the U.S. Civil War. The good, the bad and the ugly, respectively, are on behalf of the film's three protagonists. There is no doubt to say that the wonderful and varied plot is the most attractive in this movie. In this three-hour movie, the director took half an hour for the debut of three main characters. Followed by an hour and a half, through a series of coincidence, three men met by designed. In the process, there is a key figure - Bill Carson, who is encountered with the good and the ugly in the desert. This coincidence meet is a turning point for all the following stories. The three men came together for finding the treasure with two hundred thousand dollars . The most classic scene is the last part, the duel between the three, implied a classic logic problem. From my own perspective, this duel was obviously not fair. The first mover must not be the final winner, which made the bad hesitate to observe the other two. The good people is with confidence, and put the main observation on the bad. The ugly in his own circumstances, would inevitably choose to kill the bad. After the bad died, the good took half of the money and gave the ugly a way to live. This ending can be said to be

The Breaking Away movie portrayed a lot of themes from Cinderella. They are so similar in so many things if not the same themes but different story plot. In the “Cinderella” and the loss of the father love there was a little girl named Ginny who always came second in her parents mind “’Cinderella’ was her chosen tale” (schectman 290) Just like Ginny, Dave’s chosen tale was being Italian, calling his dad, papa and his mom, mama and telling the girl that he liked that he is Italian. "Wanted" is basically from a comic book that has limited series written by Mark Miller and J.G Jones, it is about an amoral protagonist (Wesley Gibson) who is discovered as the heir of super assassin. Russian director, Timur Bekmambetov, he is the cream of the crop, he turns this comic into a movie that make the viewers not sit still and make their adrenaline and cortisone levels spike with the actions. Bekmambetov used the similar style of shots and angles with his previous movie, Night watch. It's more to wide angle (long shot), so we can see the terrifying background like one of the scenes in the torture room, where Wes has been beaten up by the butcher. Not even that, there are many special effects that Bekmambetov applies in this movie, like slow-motion with sound effects that certainly provides that "ouch" reaction from audiences.…

Movie scholars take note of shot sizes, lighting, and editing of films in relation to American culture and ideas. They look at what each film is trying to explain and whether or not it does a good job presenting itself. American film isn’t always trying to go for the artistic side of film, it leans towards the stories each film can tell. The Coens brothers did a good job of illustrating a typical western movie but at the same time they added a few twist and turns of their own that makes it different from a western movie. Many western movies follow a similar path. There is always a bad guy that rides into town and tries to start trouble and usually the sheriff is the good guy that saves the day. Before the sheriff saves the day there is usually a big shoot out in which the bad guy is killed and then everything is resolved.…

As far as science fiction goes, the film Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind by Michael Gondry is a model movie for the genre. Having just watched it for the first time, the concept itself is innovative, refreshing, and interesting. The main protagonist is Joel Barish who is played by Jim Carrey and is our narrative point of view. He says his thoughts out loud, and in doing so tells the viewer key points in the story. Joel is a quiet and mildly reserved man who meets another major character, Clementine played by Kate Winslet, and falls deeply in love with her.…
