Health care in vulnerable communities can be very hard to achieve sometimes. This short essay is going to look at the good and the bad of health care when you are a low-income childless adult. It may seem that I am only describing a small group of people out of a huge chunk but this seemingly small group is a lot bigger than it looks. I’m going to talk a little about challenges this group deals with trying to receive health care; benefits if any that may be on their side when applying or receiving health care; and what may differ between low-income childless adults and the middle class childless adults. First of all we are going to talk about some of the challenges this group may come across when applying or receiving health care. From my personal experience, because I am a member of this group in my small town community, the biggest problem I had was the waiting to be accepted. When someone applies it can take up to a month or longer to learn if you have been accepted or declined. This is also if there are no complications with the information that you used. The easiest way to go about applying for health care is to talk or meet with a specialist. When someone goes to meet with this specialist they will need all their information. This includes social security number, maiden names of mothers and income statements to name a few. It can be very discouraging or irritating trying to figure out all the paper work and things by oneself that is why I recommend a specialist. These…
